Juniors

The 2023 season starts on Tuesday, 5th March at Tauranga Boys College Gym, running through to 29th October.

Juniors (Yr 5 - Yr 9) session runs from 6.00pm to 7.30pm (Term time only - not during school holidays)

Membership Costs:

Juniors / Students: $120 for the season or $7 casual per night.

Family concessions available & racquets available - just come along and have a go!

(Family Concessions: 2 students = $210, 1 Adult & 1 Student = $230 - each extra family member $90)

(Concession Cards: Adult = $50 for 6 sessions, Student = $35 for 6 sessions.  Basically pay for 5 visits and get 1 free! Concession cards payable in advance)

At the Avenues Badminton Club Junior Session, our coaches use the BWF Shuttle Time program.

Shuttle Time lessons are designed to provide children with a positive image of badminton through many opportunities to have fun, engage with others and experience success.

Shuttle Time introduces players to fundamental movement skills through a range of physical badminton activities which incorporate technical and tactical elements of the game. This includes the development of hand-eye coordination, catching and throwing, stability and balance, speed and agility as well as jumping and landing skills.
